In the Spirit of the international girl child celebration, our icon for today and the first icon we will be showcasing on Practicalive is a young lady, who was able to make a good name for herself despite life's troubles - MAUD CHIFAMBA Maud Chifamba was born on the 19th of November  1997, into a poor family in the Hunters resettlement community in Chegutu, central Zimbabwe in the Southern part of Africa. In 2002 when she was 5 years old, Maud lost her dad. Maud's mother was plagued with Cancer and as such could not cater for her and her younger brother. The circumstances warranted Maud to stay with her step-brother, there she started her primary education. In grade 3, she was mistakenly given the question paper for grade 4, yet she scored 100%. It starts from the mind – as an idea.  After it is birthed as an idea, it is spoken, just like God did in the book of Genesis.
